Most days, I wear a dozen different hats. I am an entrepreneur, a daughter, a dedicated professional, and a mother. I am also an independent consultant, a business owner, and a caregiver. Like so many of you, my life is a beautiful, fast-paced juggle of responsibilities.

I founded Black Box Basics because I realized that in the midst of showing up for everyone else—at work, at home, and in our communities—we often forget to show up for ourselves. I know firsthand how easy it is for self-care to fall to the bottom of a never-ending to-do list.

That is why I created this brand.

I am dedicated to formulating natural, high-quality skincare—from our signature SheaLoco and Turmeric body butters to our curated fragrance oils—that provides a moment of luxury in a busy day. My goal isn't just to sell a product; it’s to provide a ritual. Whether it’s the scent of a designer-inspired oil or the feel of raw, hand-poured shea butter, these products are designed for the person who does it all and deserves a moment to themselves.

When I’m not balancing my business and professional life, I am finding my greatest inspiration in my kids and my family. They are the reason I strive for excellence in everything I touch—from the minimalist aesthetic of our black boxes to the traditional patterns of our curated accessories.
